A charming and extremely alluring bouquet of Manganoan Calcite that is all but fully saturated with an intense floral pink hue. Most of this specimen is well-formed, presenting sharp, sizable terminations across the top of the specimen (the largest reaching 6.4 centimeters across) and side faces that are nicely textured with shallow, almost stepped formations. While Dan certainly had a fabulous, albeit limited selection of fluorescent minerals in his collection, this specimen is undoubtedly one of his best. When viewed under UV light, the Calcite quite literally erupts into fields of intense orange (shortwave) and hot pink (longwave), briefly phosphorescing afterward. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
