Topaz on feldspar, 13 cm, from the Xanda mine, Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This is one of the two best specimens ever found at the mine. Will Johnson collection, ex Gene Meieran; Tom Spann photo. Reference: Cassedanne and Lowell (1982).
