This giant mineral specimen of chrysocolla and malachite stalactites comes from the world-renowned Star of the Congo Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It features an impressive, cavernous formation of light blue chrysocolla stalactites. These stalactites are partially yet beautifully covered by a rich layer of deep green malachite crystals. The contrasting colors and massive scale make this a truly exceptional and historically significant piece.
Now exhibited at the GIA.
