A classic example of the famous Stak Nala style of elbaite tourmaline, with green tourmaline crystals embedded in, nestled in, surrounded by contrasting white matrix of albite and cleavelandite. From a small find of 2024. These crystals reach to 8 cm, as they go all through the matrix cradling them, to the bottom. This is a classic style of slender tourmalines floating in such clusters that we first saw in the 1980s, unique to Stak Nala. Complete all around, and a beautiful combination specimen. Note the hexagonal and lustrous, sharp lepidolite crystal inside a pocket.
