Cerussite is one of Tsumeb's signature species, found commonly. Anglesite, however, is MUCH more rare and often mistaken for cerussite in poor quality. This crystal is anything but poor - sharp, textbook in form, and transparently gemmy! This single crystal is an unusual representation for the species here for its survival and perfection. It is literally gem-clear. There are multiple, grey-black inclusions (manganese presumably) along one side and end, and these give the crystal a definite character that is pleasing visually. Just a shocking, rare survivor of a species seldom seen, and essential to any Tsumeb thumbnail suite.
