An iconic Erupción mine Wulfenite, from Los Lamentos in Chihuahua, Mexico. This miniature specimen features three distinctive thick tabular cuboid orange Wulfenite crystals, the largest of which reaches 1.4 cm on edge by 0.5 cm thick and the other two just a little less. All are in very good condition and two of the crystals are nicely twinned, with the other presenting well all round. These crystals sit upon a thin bed of massive white Calcite which is coated (on the surface with the Wulfenite) with brown microcrystals of Descloizite. This is a really excellent example of this classic form of Wulfenite for which Erupción mine is famed.
