A sharp dodecahedral garnet crystal with a smaller one adjacent to it sitting in vugs of tan rhyolite matrix. Lustrous and in pristine condition, no damage visible. There are some small crystals on the back that are heavily coated in matrix. A classic US garnet locality that can be difficult to collect. Ex: Casey Jones, John Barlow
