It wasn't until late 2018 and all throughout 2019 the smaller, remote locality of La Morita started to produce exceptional specimens of Wulfenite and Mimetite. This piece is a profound example of the former, teeming with beautifully-formed, bright orange, tabular Wulfenite crystals that intertwine and branch off one another. The piece is virtually free of any matrix from the front side and pleasantly balanced with small pockets of negative space, which give the piece a more interesting display. Just about every crystal is complete all around and lustrous, reaching up to 2.2 centimeters. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
