Cavansite on Stilbite: Beautiful Cavansite with rich blue crystals from Pune, India

Cavansite from the Wagholi Quarries in Poona, India are treasured for their rarity and vibrant blue color. This is a great example with undamaged, lustrous crystal aggregates on matrix, and is quite rich for the species.

The contrast between the white stilbite matrix and the cavansite is gorgeous, and the quality of the cavansite crystals is fantstic for the locality. A wonderful calcium vanadium silicate with deep rich blue crystals.
