Wire transfers available, to set up
A superb small cabinet specimen of blocky, opaque Baryte crystals up to 1.5 cm long and covering about two thirds of an approximately 1.2 mm thick plate of grey Quartzite. This fine Baryte is from Lahošť in the Ústí Region of Bohemia, Czech Republic. Where the matrix is exposed on the display face, it is encrusted with micro-crystals of tan Baryte. The large, rather stubby, yet perfectly developed Baryte crystals are translucent siskin to leafy green around their bases but grade to an opaque dark bottle green to black in the crystal itself. The prism faces typically have a bright sparkling, glassy lustre, with the one larger face being waxy to matt. A splendid Baryte from Lahošť.\n
