A super specimen of Sylvanite displaying excellent crystal development, from the Sacarimb area in Romania. Crystals of bright metallic silvery-yellow Sylvanite display an elongated aspect, with triangular thin play extension off the main crystal stems, and as intricate thread-like forms. The crystallized Sylvanite has populated on a thin colourless druse of Quartz on a light brown Volcanic rock matrix. From the early 19th century.
