A perfect 1.6 cm long monoclinic crystal of deep purple to electric magenta and hot pink bladed Erythrite displays near the top of this small miniature. The matrix is coated with 2 to 3 mm colourless Quartz crystals overgrown with crystalline balls of pale pink Spherocobaltite and further crystals of Erythrite, from the world's best locality for this species - Bou Azzer in Morocco. Spherocobaltite is a rare cobalt carbonate. This beautiful eye-catching specimen has a sawn back and is mounted vertically on a small square acrylic base for display.
