Description
A small miniature of two rare Cornish arsenates, Clinoclase with Liroconite, from their type locality at Wheal Gorland in the parish of Gwennap, Cornwall, England. A matrix of finely brecciated, vuggy Quartz veinstone is pervaded with rich patches of micro-crystallised, indigo blue Clinoclase, crystallised green Liroconite and earthy infillings of massive Malachite. Viewed with the aid of a loupe, numerous individual Liroconite crystals become visible, measuring up to 1 mm across.\n
