A great example of intergrown, multi-faced, cuboctahedral Galena crystals, some with a bright, reddish-purple iridescent over the metallic grey crystal faces. Limited areas of the Galena are selectively coated in caramel brown Siderite crystals, with rare associated colourless Fluorite crystals. A showy and rather different Galena with Siderite from the famous Boltsburn mine at Rookhope in Weardale, County Durham, England.
