This extremely rare specimen of Schafarzikite from the Type Locality at Krížnica, Pernek, Slovakia is reported on an accompanying label as having been found in the earliest years of the 20th century. Many bladed crystals of glossy black Schafarzikite, an iron antimony oxide, are scattered amongst needle-like red crystals of Kermesite on joint surfaces within Quartz-Pyrite-?Gudmundite in this very rich miniature specimen.
