A classic example of the fine large anatase crystals found in Norway, rarely in modern times. This piece hosts a superb, doubly-terminated crystal measuring 2.2 cm (nearly an inch!) across, on a small matrix of granite and with a secondary crystal underneath. The main large crystal is free of damage except a few teeny tiny dings on the back side. The display face, to us, features the secondary crystal shooting out to the left because, if you look closely, you can see they have two very different terminations! One is pointed, and one ends with a flat plane face. The contrast is striking. For the size, given that it is on matrix, this is a significant display quality specimen. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 53382
