Description
This is a specimen of the distinctive "apple green" smithsonite the 79 Mine was famous for back in the day. It became almost impossible to get, and then over the past decade, a couple of miners went back into the old works and got a modest trickle of new specimens back into the market. I do not know if this specimen is from the original or newer finds.
