Superb teal blue cavansite crystal cluster from the Wagholi quarries, Pune, India. Perched on a matrix of white stilbite is a lustrous, intense teal-blue spherical cluster of cavansite with crystals over one centimeter in length! This cluster exhibits fabulous luster and the myriad of intense teal-blue crystals scintillate in any ambient lighting. From an aesthetic viewpoint, this cavansite spherical cluster has exceptional form and its placement on just the right amount of white, drusy crystalline stilbite matrix results in great contrast and composition! This piece is in excellent condition with only a few tiny dings, and contacting on the bottom where the piece was plucked from the pocket. We rarely see cavansite spheres of this size and intense color. This is an outrageously good miniature and stands out in any display! Old material with a dark color more common a decade ago.
