White acicular crystals of gowerite very rich across the top of this matrix with micro crystalline and massive nobleite. In good condition, nice for the species.Death Valley in Inyo County, California, is characterized by a desert basin geology shaped by faulting and ancient evaporite beds, supporting a famous history of borax and mineral mining. Within its saline deposits, particularly in the Furnace Creek area, mineralogists discovered and collected unique species like gowerite and nobleite, rare hydrous borates that highlight the region's distinct mineralogical significance.
