Calcite

An attractive calcite specimen from the renowned Boldut Mine, part of the historic Cavnic mining district in northern Romania.

The specimen displays a striking contrast, with white calcite formations resembling a snowy mountain landscape or a flock of sheep peacefully resting after a long day. Adding to its charm, some of the calcite crystals contain minor pyrite inclusions, creating a subtle smoky effect along their edges and giving the specimen an extra touch of character.
