This classic, burnt-orange coloured bed of finely crystallized Mimetite is of a style quite typical of the famous Tsumeb mine in Namibia, forming a 1.8 cm thick layer of glossy, florette-like crystal groups grading from pale cream coloured at their base, up to intense orange at their tips. At 6.8 cm in length it is perhaps not quite small cabinet in size, but is certainly a very large miniature and displays nicely. Ex Weyand Collection.
