This miniature Cobaltoan Smithsonite from the world-famous Tsumeb mine in Namibia is richly crystallized. Its colour is quite pale - a softer shade of pastel pink - but the crystals are nicely formed, as rhombs, 6 mm on edge, and with rounded edges and corners. The display surface encrusts a small core of dark grey sulphide. It is mounted upright on an acrylic base for display.
