Octahedral Galena crystals to 1.8 cm on edge sit upon finely crystallized Fluorite with surface alteration of the Galena to Cerussite microcrystals. The Galena crystals are not completely formed, but do show good shape for this classic occurrence at Masson Hill, where well-formed Galena crystals were encountered in the quarry in 1981.
