Stephanite specimens - even thumbnail ones like this - are rare from Schlema in the Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany. This one is rich in Stephanite, but despite appearing to be a well-crystallized aggregate the individual form of crystals are not easily discernible. Nevertheless, this is a classic.
