Previous larger bladed crystals of azurite measuring to 2.2 cm in size are covering the top of matrix with some massive cuprite. These crystals have been replaced by deep green crystallized malachite. A second-generation of deep blue lustrous crystals of azurite to 1.0 cm in size are scattered throughout. In excellent condition. The specimen comes with a label from the collection of Ray DeMark, as well as an antique label from the Natural History Museum in Paris.
