Quartz Amethyst

Length: 6.8 x 4.7 x 6cm Locality: Piedra Parada, Tatatila, Veracruz, Mexico Matrixless group with prismatic crystals forming a star. They are all perfect with bright terminations. Violet tint concentrated towards the tips, lighter bases: the contrast is magnificent with the mirror-like luster of the faces. Piedra Parada is the best location in Veracruz for amethyst quartz, with its characteristic color due to iron and natural irradiation. Its unique architecture and mineral quality make it a must-see for mineralogists, and this recent and exceptional discovery presents a significant opportunity. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
