Locality: Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, Nanling Metallogenic Belt, China
This natural specimen consists of thick tabular green fluorite with remarkable stepped growth patterns formed during multi‑stage hydrothermal mineralization. The fluorite surface is densely coated with sparkling druzy quartz overgrowth, creating a sugary, rugged mountain‑like texture with striking three‑dimensional relief.
It displays a soft translucent mint‑emerald green under daylight. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the fluorite glows vivid royal‑blue with bright, even fluorescence across most crystal faces — a famous characteristic of high‑quality fluorite from Ruyuan deposit.
