This is a highly aesthetic and unusual specimen of Plumbogummite pseudomorph after Pyromorphite from the Yangshuo Mine, Yangshuo County, Guangxi, China. This locality is well known among collectors for producing distinctive blue-green secondary lead minerals and particularly attractive pseudomorphic specimens.

The specimen is covered with a dense formation of delicate, elongated and botryoidal Plumbogummite crystals in an attractive range of pale blue to blue-green colours. The crystals form an impressive, almost coral-like surface across the matrix, with numerous individual forms and intricate growth patterns creating excellent visual texture and depth.

The most interesting feature of the specimen is the pseudomorphic nature of the material. Plumbogummite has replaced the original Pyromorphite while preserving its characteristic crystal morphology, creating a fascinating example of mineral replacement and a beautiful record of geological processes. Subtle yellow-green and grey areas throughout the specimen provide additional contrast to the dominant blue tones.
