In 2023, an extraordinary emerald pocket was discovered, producing some of the most aesthetically remarkable Colombian emerald specimens ever encountered. Although the material quickly attracted strong interest within the mineral-collecting community, the find received relatively limited attention because the specimens were generally very small, with individual crystals measuring only a few millimeters in length. Despite their modest size, the pocket yielded an exceptional group of miniature specimens distinguished by their outstanding aesthetics, crystal quality, and overall appeal. It remains a truly remarkable discovery, responsible for some of the finest Colombian emerald miniatures known.
