This is in terrific condition all around. The Huanggang Mines, located in the Hexigten Banner of Inner Mongolia, China, comprise a massive iron-tin skarn deposit situated within the Great Hinggan Mountains. Geologically, the site formed from the interaction of Late Mesozoic granitic intrusions with Permian limestone and marble, creating a complex mineralogical environment rich in iron, tin, and boron. Large-scale industrial mining operations began in the late twentieth century to extract iron and tin. Alongside these commercial metal extraction activities, the mines gained international acclaim among mineral collectors for producing diverse mineral specimens, including ilvaite, lollingite, fluorite, and various silicates.
