Fantastic doesn't quite cover it. This Coyamito agate from Chihuahua shows perfect concentric banding in gold, lavender, and red, wrapped around a druzy quartz center. Every band is a separate pulse of mineral-rich water filling a bubble in volcanic rock, the colors come from trace iron and manganese. Small specimen, world-class quality.
