Rare two‑generation chrysocolla on quartz with associated calcite from the Tentadora Mine in the Huancavelica region of Peru. This specimen shows vibrant blue‑green chrysocolla coating quartz crystals with secondary growth phases visible across the surface. The presence of calcite adds contrast and highlights the multi‑phase mineralization that makes Tentadora material so distinctive.

This piece comes from a very small 2018 pocket that produced only a limited number of top‑tier specimens. The mine has not produced material of this quality since, making pieces from this pocket increasingly scarce and highly sought after by collectors. The combination of chrysocolla, quartz, and calcite in a single specimen is uncommon, and the two‑generation growth adds significant mineralogical interest.

Aesthetic color contrast, natural sculptural form, and the rarity of the pocket make this a premium collector specimen from one of Peru’s most respected chrysocolla localities.
