Striking specimen of Malachite after Azurite, displaying a well-defined pseudomorph from the renowned Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. The piece features elongated, prismatic crystal forms of the original azurite, now fully replaced by malachite while preserving their sharp morphology, creating a dynamic and sculptural appearance.
A strong visual contrast is present between the deep green pseudomorphs and the lighter, yellowish-green matrix, highlighting the complexity of secondary mineralization processes. The crystal surfaces exhibit a silky to matte luster with natural texturing characteristic of malachite.
