Kunzite from USA, California, San Diego County, Pala Mining District, Oceanview Mine, Big Kahuna II

Two faceted Kunzite gems weighing 35 and 32 carats, along with large rough partial Kunzite crystal, from the Kahuna II pocket, Oceanview?Elizabeth R Mine, Chief Mtn, Pala, San Diego County, California USA. The two faceted stones were acquired from Jeff Swanger/Oceanview Mine LLC thru Mark Mauthner, in February 2012. The color saturation of the Kunzite from this pocket is some of the best ever found in North America. The larger crystal has been sold/traded and the two faceted gems are still in the Christopher Wentzell Mineral Trust collection.
