Carving of a Lion's Head in Precious Opal from Australia.  Older piece, likely dating to 1920's or 1930s.  About 2.9 cm.  I have sold this several times, and bought it back each time I was rebuilding my opal collection.  One of the few opals that I have kept for the collection this time around.
