Gwindel smoky quartz on matrix - Talèfre, Mont-Blanc, French Alps

Here is an outstanding lightly smoky quartz cluster including a rare nearly closed gwindel. As you may know, it's quite scarce to find this kind of gwindels still in place on their mother rock. The twist is well visible and the gwindel itself is a little more than 4 cm high. The whole specimen is lightly covered in green chlorite, which is typical from the locality.
