Smoky quartz from Argentière Glacier, Chamonix, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

This rare alpine smoky quartz cluster features no fewer than 10 faden quartz crystals. It originates from a unique find made in the Argentière area during the summer of 2025.

In reality, alpine smoky faden quartz are far rarer than gwindels, even though gwindels tend to attract most of the attention.
