Blue fluorites from the Florence mine are on the most easily recognizable and desirable English fluorite specimens. This particular piece features bright blue cubes up to 1.7cm on edge sitting on a contrasting matrix composed of specular hematite and iron red hematite matrix. The fluorite have lustrous faces at the apex and some of the lower fluorite cubes have a light dusting of red hematite. Nice color contrast and in great condition. An absolute English Classic!
