Spinel crystal group, 5.5 cm, from Amity, Warwick Township, Orange County, New York. This is an old piece originally from the collection of Clarence S. Bement. In 1900, Bement sold his collection to J. Pierpont Morgan, who donated it to the American Museum of Natural History. Ex collections of James Zigras, Robert Rosenblatt, and George Loud.
