Glaucodot is a cobalt iron arsenic sulfide mineral with the formula (Co,Fe)AsS that crystallizes in the orthorhombic system and typically forms tin white to steel gray metallic crystals or granular masses. It occurs in hydrothermal veins, commonly associated with cobalt and nickel minerals, and was first described in 1849 from Hakanboda, Sweden. This example is quite large for a single crystal, mostly complete with some damage and contacting. From the type locality for the species, the specimen comes with an antique label as shown at the end of the video. The specimen dates to the very early 20th century.
