Calcite, 11 cm, from the Thomasville Stone and Lime quarry, Thomasville, York County, Pennsylvania. I found this in 1993 in a pocket opened in the roof of the mine drift; it “rained” calcites. Bryon Brookmyer collection; James Elliott photo.
