Malachite, 17.8 cm, from the Shilu mine, Yangchun County, Yangjiang Prefecture, Guang-dong Province, China. Botryoidal chatoyant malachite specimens were discovered in the same mine that previously had yielded azurite rosettes or flowers in large numbers in the 1980s.
