Wavellite, 10 cm, from Lime Ridge, Mt. Pleasant Hills, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. In the summer of 2006, the quarry operator cut a trench to mark the property line, exposing wavellite in the sandstone breccia. Bob Weaver and others collected specimens for the next few months. The wavellite specimen shown here is from Weaver’s personal collection.
