Fluorite on quartz stalactites, 15 cm, from a small find made ca. 2015 near the town of Xiayang, Sanmingxi County, Fujian Province, China. It shows an unusual dodecahedral habit looking similar to a demantoid garnet. Formerly in the collection of Zhang Jun, formerly on exhibition in a museum in Xi’An. Joe Budd photo.
