Elbaite on lepidolite, 9.5 cm, from Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais, Brazil. In order to retain this exceptional specimen—known as the jewel of the pocket—I chose to sell its larger, but far less gemmy pocket companion (shown in fig. 237).
