Smithsonite Stalactite with  Cerussite and Quartz 

Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia

Very interesting stalactite of Smithsonite, possibly on Gslena or a sulfide. Small quartz crystals are randomly deposited giving the specimen a sparkle! Underneath the stalactite is a twinned gemmy Cerussite crystal. Smithsonite stalactites from Tsumeb are much sought after for their uncommon and attractive habit.
