Chalcotrichite inclusions create some of the rarest combinations from Tsumeb. This smallish but very colorful thumbnail is representative of the well-known pocket of included cerussite crystals, with its orange-red coloration from the chalcotrichite and a small amount of malachite providing color and contrast. Dr. Pohl had a propensity to buy specimens from important finds in numbers, and I believe that was the case for these chalcotrichite associations. Lucky for us that these sought-after specimens are now available, only as this old collection comes to market.
