Cerussite included by Malachite
Unknown Owner
This miniature is highly desirable for a very rare and special combination from Tsumeb, both in form and association. Cerussite is one of the great Tsumeb's signature species, and it is especially desirable when twinned. Here, the gemmy and lustrous blades of cerussite show the early stages of reticulated twinning in several places, which gives the cerussite a balanced distribution across the matrix. The largest crystal is 1.2 cm, and most are included with a surprisingly bright malachite, which helps create an aesthetic that pops visually. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 24944
