When seeing a crystal that has nearly perfect aesthetics for the species, it is truly a wonder to behold. Heliodor from the Ukraine has long stood the test of time as being some of the best quality yellow Beryl the world will ever see. In the hunt for the

“perfect” crystal some of the most sought after characteristics we will see are the doubly terminated, elongated, and cylindrical (for lack of a better term) crystals with bullet tip terminations. Well defined broad face etching patterns paired with the classic spiked patterns being seen on each face is a major plus. Then, having flawless internal clarity paired with top color saturation make them truly world class crystals - and this specimen checks all boxes.
