This very large thumbnail specimen comes from John Schneider's famous Tsumeb collection (no. 1746). It features yellow-green tapering hexagonal Mimetite crystals with noticeable horizontal growth lines, rising out of a gossanous Goethite matrix. The largest of these crystals reaches 1 cm in length with many over 7 mm and with lovely terminations and a fine wet-looking lustre. A very high class Tsumeb Mimetite.
